The Clinton Fire Department is located at 102 N. Jackson St. The existing building was built in 1969 and was dedicated to past Fire Chief John Schuler Sr.
The building was originally four apparatus bays, a restroom, and an office area. In 1993 the Village purchased the building next door and the two buildings were connected with a hallway.
The new building was remodeled to accommodate on the first floor a radio/communications room, an officer’s office, restroom, storage closet, medical room, a break area, SCBA maintenance area. On the second floor there is a training room, workout room, additional restroom with shower, and a kitchen. The basement houses additional storage area and a turnout gear washer room.
